Saturday, August 14, 2010 TIMES RECORD NEWS Roberta Janett Martin Survivors are her children, Debi Martin of Jarrell, Texas; Justin Martin of Burkburnett; Ricky Martin of Randlett, Oklahoma and Robin Fincannon and husband Mickey of Burkburnett. Grandchildren, Kyle Martin of Wichita Falls, Texas, Kandice Martin of Chickasha, Oklahoma, Melissa Psencik of Jarrell, Texas, Kayla, Kortney and Kaydee Fincannon of Burkburnett, Tx. Great Grandchildren, Madison, Kyleigh and Natalie Martin of Wichita Falls, Texas. She is also survived by brothers, Royce Woodrome, and Christopher Woodrome; Sisters, Edna Wilson, Cora Roden, Geneva Kessler and Juanita Sweetman and numerous Joe R. Calvit sity.

He served our country in the Army Air Corp as a fighter pilot in WWII and retired from the U.S. Air Force Reserve as a Lt. Colonel. He began his newspaper career with the Palestine Herald Press transferring to the Wichita Falls Times Record News in 1966 as editor. In 1974, he moved to the Longview News Journal, where he retired in 1986.

He loved baseball and college football, and was an authority on the Civil War. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Elaine Frances (Pope) Calvit of Forrest Dale Montgomery HENRIETTA, Texas Agent for Burling- Forrest Dale Montgomery, 84, of Henrietta, Texas, passed away Thursday, August 12, 2010, in Wichita Falls, Texas. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 14, 2010, at the Davis Funeral Home Chapel, Henrietta, Texas, with Rev. Howard Walker, pastor of the First Christian Church, Henrietta, Texas, officiating.

Burial will be in Hope Cemetery, Henrietta, Texas, under the direction of Davis Funeral Home in Henrietta, Texas. Mr. Montgomery was born February 20, 1926, in Avinger, Texas, to Wylie and Hazel (Hall) Montgomery. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1943-1945.

He married Peggy Moore on June 14, 1947, in Avinger, Texas. He was a Railroad Roberta Janett Martin, 72, of Burkburnett, Texas passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2010 in Wichita Falls, Texas. She was born March 14, 1938 in Lookeba, Oklahoma the daughter of George and Vilda Woodrome. On March 28, 1959 she married John (Abe) Albert Martin in Duncan, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death December 15, 1995.

Ms. Martin was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Burkburnett, TX. Ms. Martin was also preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Zula Sweat, Shirley Biffle, Leigh Ann Sides, Clarence Woodrome, Jimmy Woodrome, Billy Woodrome and Floyd Woodrome. Joe R.

Calvit, 86, of Wichita Falls, died Tuesday, August 10, 2010. The graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 14, 2010, in the Spring Hill Cemetery in Dekalb, Texas, with Rev. Larry Linam, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Owens Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.

A son of the late Charles and Ruth (Phillips) Calvit, he was born on August 17, 1923, in Dekalb, Texas. The first in his family to attend college, he graduated from Texas State Univer- Corda Belle Skinner, resident of Irving for 53 years, passed from this life Wednesday, August 11, 2010. She was born June 10, 1922, in Byers, Texas. She was employed by the Irving ISD as a head cook in the late 60's to the late 70's and retired after 13 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Curtis; parents, Samuel Lafayette and Mary Sa- OBITUARIES nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 14, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Calvary Baptist Church in Burkburnett with Rev. Jerry Jackson officiating. Marguerite was born April 2, 1921, in Olney, Texas, to the late August Fred and Linda (Foehr) Ickert. She and J.E. "Mike" Hickman were married on July 2, 1945, in Houston, Texas. He preceded her in death on October 27, 2006. Marguerite was a homemaker and a member of St.

Luke Lutheran Church. She and Mike moved to Olney from Wichita Falls in 1984. She was preceded in death by a son, James Hickman on October 19, 2005; a daughter, Cody Russell on June 2, 2008; and a brother, A.F. Ickert, Jr. on May 10, 1999.
